APAJO Signs MoU to Combat Copyright Infringing Websites

Portugal's online gambling association, the APAJO, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to reduce advertising on websites that infringe copyright.
The MoU is promoted by the European Commission and targets online domains that stream or pirate content without a license.
The APAJO will work with 29 other signees to promote better practices, develop initiatives, and limit the money received by copyright infringers.
The APAJO's president, Ricardo Domingues, said his association is committed to promoting good advertising practices and fully subscribes to the spirit and mission of the MoU.
