The Arizona Department of Gaming has opened applications for three sports betting licenses, with notable operators such as PointsBet, bet365, Tipico, and Betr expected to apply
The Arizona Department of Gaming has begun accepting applications for three sports betting licenses, following the closure of Fubo sportsbook and the underutilization of available commercial licenses.
While the state allows for 20 licenses, only 18 were issued at the industry's launch.
The application window will be open from August 1st to 15th, with each license costing $750,000. PointsBet, bet365, Tipico, and Betr are among the operators expected to apply.
