Dutch Regulator takes action against companies for operating without license
"It must pay off for providers of games of chance to offer their games legally," said René Jansen, KSA chairman.
The Dutch gambling regulator, de Kansspelautoriteit (KSA), has penalized two operators, Winning Poker Network and Goldwin Ltd, for allowing Dutch players to access their services without a valid license.
Goldwin ceased operations after receiving a warning from KSA, while Winning Poker Network continued operating.
As a result, Winning Poker Network will have to make periodic payments of up to €75,000, while Goldwin received a penalty of €239,000, with the potential for an increased penalty if they offer games to Dutch players in the future.
