Lithuanian Gambling Authority fines Baltic Bet for promoting gambling

Lithuania's Gambling Supervisory Authority has imposed a fine of €16,705 (£14,319/$18,259) on Baltic Bet for breaching laws against promoting gambling.
The Authority discovered the company had published content on its website encouraging gambling and used specific key words to promote its Optibet brand on Google, both of which were violations of Article 10, Paragraph 19 of the country's Law on Gambling.
In addition to the fine, the Authority warned of potential further action and gave Baltic Bet time to address these issues.
