Top Sport faces a €15,000 fine from Lithuanian GCA for failing to prevent deposits from an account holder via a card that did not belong to them
Lithuania's Gambling Control Authority has fined Top Sport €15,000 for failing to prevent deposits from being made by an account holder via a card that did not belong to them.
The regulator found one of the operator's customers deposited €14,985 using another individual's payment card. The GCA also noted that this was the third financial penalty imposed on Top Sport in Lithuania this year.
In February, the company was fined €25,000 for sending emails containing links to its mobile apps and websites, and it was handed another €15,000 fine in January for poor CCTV installation at its land-based gambling venues.
