Lithuania's gambling regulator finds minor breaches by Betsafe but avoids penalties
Betsafe faced an investigation in Lithuania revealing regulatory breaches in online gambling, but avoided penalties due to mitigating circumstances and insignificant violations
Lithuania's Gambling Supervision Service has conducted an investigation into Betsafe, a gaming company under Lošimų strateginė grupė UAB, revealing breaches in online gambling regulations.
The breaches relate to a remote gambling solution called Sic Bo, operated by Betsafe without the required certificate.
However, the regulator found mitigating circumstances, including Betsafe's full cooperation during the investigation, lack of prior sanctions, and the absence of direct income or material benefits from the violation.
As a result, the authority deemed the violations insignificant and did not impose any sanctions or penalties.
