Mount Airy Casino Resort Receives Five-Year License Renewal in Pennsylvania
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board has unanimously voted to renew the license of Mount Airy Casino Resort for another five years, after determining that the operator had fulfilled all obligations under its previous license.
Mount Airy Casino Resort in Monroe County, Pennsylvania has had its Category 2 license renewed by the state's Gaming Control Board.
The decision was based on a process that allowed the operator and the public to provide information relevant to the decision.
A public input hearing was held in August 2022 where the casino's personnel submitted exhibits and presented testimony on various aspects of the facility's operation since its last license renewal was granted.
The Board also received information from local government officials, community groups, and the PA State Police before unanimously approving the renewal.
Mount Airy Casino Resort currently operates 1,632 slot machines, 84 table games, FoxBet retail and online sportsbooks, and both the FoxBet and PokerStars iGaming sites through PlayMountAiry.com.
