Netherlands' Regulator Imposes €12.6m Fine on N1 Interactive and Four Other Operators for Breaching Betting and Gaming Act
N1 Interactive disputes €12.6m Dutch fine for violating Betting and Gaming Act, while Videoslots challenges €9.8m fine for wrongly displaying KSA's logo.
Malta-based operator N1 Interactive is disputing a €12.6m fine imposed by the Netherlands' regulator, De Kansspelautoriteit.
The regulator claimed N1 violated the country’s Betting and Gaming Act by offering games of chance without holding the necessary licence. N1 denied the accusation and challenged the fine's legitimacy, arguing it had taken measures to prevent access by Dutch users.
Videoslots was among four other operators also fined by KSA, disputing a €9.8m fine for wrongly displaying the regulator's logo on its website. Videoslots said the Dutch Gaming Act does not apply to its services as it does not target Dutch players.
