Puerto Rico grants regular sports betting licenses to nine companies
Puerto Rico's gaming industry expands with new sports betting licenses, including anti-corruption monitoring services provider International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA)
Puerto Rico Gaming Commission has granted regular sports betting licenses to nine companies including anti-corruption monitoring services provider, International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA). Other licensed betting service providers include Global Tote, Kambi, United Tote, ASF LTD, and Sports Content CO.
In-person sports betting is currently available in Puerto Rico with online operations expected to launch once the final details are ironed out, said Commission Executive Director Jaime Rivera-Emmanuelli.
BetMGM has a betting platform provider license for in-person betting and was granted a second license as an internet gambling platform provider. Meanwhile, operator licenses are renewed every year.
