Spelinspektionen introduces fixed and variable fees for gaming software suppliers in Sweden
Spelinspektionen has introduced a fixed fee for gaming software suppliers in Sweden, requiring separate payments for each licence held
Spelinspektionen, the Swedish gambling regulator, has implemented a fixed fee for organisations holding gaming software licences in Sweden.
Each licence requires a separate fee, unless a specific exemption is granted. If the fixed fee does not cover supervision costs, a variable fee may be charged based on the additional hours required for investigation.
Suppliers are also responsible for travel, accommodation, and inspection expenses.
The new licensing system aims to enhance channelisation rates to legal offerings and became mandatory on 1 July.
