Top Sport issued warning for insufficient money laundering controls by Lithuanian Gambling Supervision Service
Lithuanian gambling operator Top Sport has received a warning from the country's Gambling Supervision Service for insufficient money laundering controls at its slot machines
The Lithuanian Gambling Supervision Service issued a warning to Top Sport after finding the operator's money laundering control measures at its slot machines insufficient.
Despite multiple previous sanctions by the watchdog, this time, the authority opted for a warning, highlighting that Top Sport failed to undertake sufficient risk assessments, monitoring, and training from January 2020 to January 2023.
This warning adds to Top Sport's growing list of reprimands, which include fines for breaches related to online payments, underage gambling, and mobile betting, among others.
