The UK's Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) Committee has published the written evidence it received from industry stakeholders, operators, and nonprofits regarding the review of the Gambling Act.
The publication of the responses from 91 different organizations and individuals comes at a time when the White Paper's release has been delayed several times, with no concrete date set.
Meanwhile, a study by the Betting and Gaming Council (BGC) found that 82% of gamblers favored promotions such as free bets, and 54% confirmed a possible ban could drive users to the black market.
