Virginia has announced that its newly established Problem Gambling Treatment and Support Advisory Committee commences operations on July 1.
The committee, established under a law signed by Governor Glenn Youngkin, will provide responsible gambling resources across various verticals to help address gambling addiction.
The initiative will fall under the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services and will encompass all forms of gambling, including lottery, sports betting, casinos, and charitable gaming.
